iec16022 software package provides Generates 2d ISO/IEC 16022 barcodes (data matrix/semacode), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install iec16022
iec16022 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the iec16022 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep iec16022 *
You will get with iec16022 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
